McIlroy Leads After Round 2 of WGC Mexico Championship

Rory McIlroy rode a second round 65 to the top of the leaderboard on Friday. Rory had six birdies, as well as a hole out eagle, to get to -9 on the tournament. Phil Mickelson had a round of 3-under to bring himself into a second place tie with Ross Fisher and Justin Thomas. Andy Sullivan tied Rory with the low round of the day, and is tied with Daniel Berger and Dustin Johnson for 5th place at -6. Last weeks winner Rickie Fowler is in a tie for 15th at -4, and Jordan Spieth is tied for 40th at +1. Last years winner of this event, Adam Scott, had a round of 5-over par, and is +7 for the tournament.
