Play Suspended for Second Straight Day at Genesis Open

A disappointingly short day of golf, as Round 2 was suspended before 1:00 P.M. on the west coast. Only 24 players completed the second round, with 60 golfers not even beginning their second. Of those who finished their round, Zac Blair and Martin Laird tied for the low round of the day at -3. Also at 3-under where Jordan Spieth, through 16 holes, Jhonattan Vegas, through 14 holes, and Billy Horschel, through 13 holes. Tyrone Van Aswegan was  4-under through 12 holes. Vegas is tied for the lead at -7 with Sam Saunders, who did not start his third round. One shot back at -6 is Jason Kokrak, who was 2-under through 10 holes. Six golfers, including Spieth and Dustin Johnson, who did not yet start his second round, are in a tie for fourth place at -5. Ten golfers are in a tie for tenth place at -4.

A plus side to the suspended play is that we could see a Monday finish, which would be a fun start to the week.
