After finishing his 3-under first round this morning, Jordan Spieth fired a 7-under second round to get to -10 and grab a share of the lead. Spieth, playing at Spyglass Hill; got off to a hot start, making birdies on his second and third holes. Jordan finished the day with eight birdies and a bogey, 4-under on the front nine and 3-under on the back. Joining Spieth at the top was Derek Fathauer, who was 8-under through 17 holes at Pebble Beach before play was stopped for the day. One shot back of the leaders is current World #1 Jason Day, who was 7-under through thirteen holes. Day made four birdies in a row before play was stopped, and if he continues his hot play when the round is resumed, could challenge the course record of a 10-under 62. Ryder Cup hero Patrick Reed is in 4th place, after a 6-under start through 17 holes at Monterey Peninsula. Jon Rahm had a streak of six birdies in a row on the front nine at Pebble Beach, eventually finishing 5-under for the day and -4 for the tournament. Joining him at -4 is World #4 Dustin Johnson.
