Hudson Swafford carded a final round 67 on Sunday en route to winning his first title on the PGA Tour. Swafford began his day with a birdie, but went 6 under on his final 12 holes. Three birdies in a row on 15, 16, and 17 gave Swafford the lead, and a par on the 18th secured a 1- shot victory over Adam Hadwin. Hadwin followed up his impressive 59 with a bit of a disappointing 70 and second place finish. Patrick Reed had the low round of the day, finishing in 12th after a 65. Phil Mickelson finished in a tie for 21st after a 2-under 70.
Tommy Fleetwood won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on the European Tour, after a final round 67. Fleetwood finished at -17, one stroke ahead of Dustin Johnson and Pablo Larrazabal.
Tiger Woods makes his 2017 debut and first PGA Tour start in a year and a half Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open. Tiger has won the tournament six times, including four in a row from 2005-08. The rest of the field includes World #1 Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, and Phil Mickelson.
